Meet Berkin

So as many of you know we have a new addition to our family meet Berkin. He is a mini goldendoodle that has stolen our hearts! So a goldendoodle is a golden retriever poodle mix however Berkin is mini which means his daddy was a mini poodle so... he should only be max 30lbs. He is non-shedding like a poodle but personality and demeanor of a golden which gives us the best of both worlds! We had a hard time deciding on a name we had Kevin, Doug, Griffin, Dexter, and Berkin and Berkin won! Which i think i won as well. Kimball thinks that naming your dog a human name like Kevin or Doug is funny which it is BUT I could not honestly yell out Doug and have my dog come running to me :)  Duke wasn't so sure about him for the first day or so but now all they do is play all day long. We wanted Berk for Duke so that he wouldn't be so lonely and try and help him with his anxiety and they are best friends now:) It's also so nice for training cause Duke is showing him the ropes and making our job so much easier. I might regret saying this but I think he is potty trained ( keeping my fingers crossed its been 3 days now without a accident) I'm pretty proud of that one it only took 2 1/2 weeks to do it and he is only 9 weeks old!!! WE LOVE HIM here is a bunch of pictures we have taken of him!
